Afghan Kush strain
Afghan Kush looks very pretty, pale green with hints of yellow, orange hairs are both light and dark present, looks like an orange and gold nugget, with mottled crystals.
Nose
Afghan Kush smells very mild even as a whole nugget with hints of saffron and butter scotch. However, once you break the bud open, the smell of burnt toffee becomes dominant.
Flavor
This bud tastes just as spicy, with nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger being the strongest. The taste of nutmeg is very soft and will be remembered for a few moments.
Effect
The effects of Afghan Kush are immediate. You get very relaxed, and a little heavy eye, (not for the rookies). I found that I didn’t feel a lot of pain. I also feel this is big spasm. And if you’re having trouble sleeping and think you need some sleep right away, Afghan Kush is your weed.
Afghan Kush is by far my favorite strain of the year. Personally knowing someone who grew it and observed the beauty has given me passion about such an amazing strain. The smells emanating from this girl were pungent as hell during the flowering period, and then weakened as it dried. During the curing, she showed her true colors. She went from spicy to a soft sweet smell with hints of lime green and bright orange hair. A very smooth smoke compared to most. Honey oil made with this stain is phenomenal. Highest hit strain in a while
